DexCare is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Software Quality to join the team!
Within this role you’ll be focused on understanding how our customers use the platform, and you will be dedicated to extending and contributing to the automation framework as well as create, maintain and execute automated test case validation of existing and new scenarios. You should have a keen eye with the ability to contribute, create test plans, test cases, and execute ways on how to break and validate software using software.

\n- Manages, leadsand guides a team of quality engineers to improve quality
- Works within the engineering organization to determine a testing strategy for each feature they are working on. This includes documenting and creating test plans and the associated automated functional and integrated test cases for each features acceptance criteria.
- Must be able to contribute to and extend the current automation framework as needed
- Architectural mindset with a proven record of creating and overseeing automation frameworks.
- Must have the ability to plan out automation framework extensibility, contributing to and maintaining its success for the entire engineering organization
- Take ownership as a team lead and makes sure all testing activities are accounted for from non-prod to prod with all customers
- Works closely with engineering teams to accomplish the testing capabilities
- Must be able to mentor and guide SDET’s and QAE’s in how to create and use automation capabilities
- Executes, communicates test results, and drives maintenance of test cases. Will become an SME in all areas of the product and know how to troubleshoot issues quickly.
- White box testing is a must
- Conducts code reviews and participates in architectural design reviews
- BS, MS in Computer Science as well as relevant work experience
- 3 years of people management experience
- 5 years of relevant hands-on quality assurance and SDET work experience with a specific focus on automation frameworks and automation testing
- Whitebox testing and automation are a must
- Must be proficient in coding in TypeScript, JavaScript
- Must be proficient in writing and understating Playwright test scripts.
- Understands GitHub, GitActionsand source code repositories capabilities specifically around CI/CD.
- Capable of extending the automation framework as well as all scripting technologies to automate API and UI test cases.
- Creates relevant test plans and creates, implements, and executes all test cases per projectand release basis.
- Knowledge and usage of TestRails for our source of truth on test cases is a plus.
- Reviews the results with the engineering team and determines why there are failures
- Root Cause Analysis capabilities
- Reports and tracks issues in JIRA and reports to team on an ongoing basis
- Must be familiar with Kanban, Agile, scrum methodologies as well as tools like Atlassian, Slack, Splunk, Data Dog Daily, etc for troubleshooting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skillset with a proven record of solving complicated problems and issues

Salary : $121,000 - $142,000
