Summary:

Highly visible growth opportunity for a Forecast Analyst or Financial Analyst (FP&A) that can translate Financial data into actionable insights for the World-Wide Sales Forecasting Team. Responsibilities include forecast variance analysis, Average Selling Price (“ASP”) analytics, reviewing revenue drivers, manipulating data, and handling ad-hoc commercial modeling. The scope of responsibilities includes coverage of the North America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific regions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Forecast variance analysis for input drives such as mix, ASP, volume, channel inventory, etc.
  • Review Pharmacy Rebates by Payer and assisting in forward looking Rx ASP forecast
  • Reviewing WW Distributor and Wholesaler data for channel intelligence
  • Update sale forecast models with historical/actuals data
  • Build logical models for ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to manage reporting needs
  • Analyze inside sales workforce capacity/efficiency and prepare recommendations
  • Conduct data base research and extract queries
  • Monitor and QC reports, ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • Thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years professional experience in a Forecast Analyst or Financial Analyst function; or Master’s degree & 4 years professional experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to build logical models
  • Direct experience / understanding of Revenue Forecasting
  • Basic understanding of database structure and manipulation

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Visualization Software, such as Tableau or similar
  • Experience with SQL (or similar database language)
  • 5 years life science, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry experience

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering. 

 

Travel Required:

  • 0 – 24%

 

Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively in English.  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively, present and respond to questions before groups of customers or employees of organization.
