Database Administrator

Position Details:

Title: Database Administrator

Location: 1 Week Onsite, 3 Weeks Remote - Westlake, TX

• Requires in depth knowledge on supporting and troubleshooting Databases like Cockroach, DB , Neo4j, Azure, SQLMI, Azure MySQL
• Build, configure, and support Database Cloud Infrastructure in AWS using industry standard deployment tools.
• Should have a good understanding on AWS cloud services like EC2, S3, CFT, EBS, IAM, AWS CLI.
• Experience in configuring and supporting of the monitoring and alerting tools like Datadog, AWS CloudWatch for proactive detection.
• Work with customers in gathering technical requirements for data migration needs.
• Good experience in production support, capacity management and maintenance of high availability & disaster recovery database systems for the large-scale databases.
• Should be open to working in shifts, on call and weekend change management tasks.
• Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas, Investigate and resolve user raised Incidents, Problem management and service requests.
• Writes clear, concise, well organized user documentation to maintain standards and procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, including a wide range of architectures and technologies.
• Should have working knowledge of Agile practices.

The Expertise we're looking for.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology or Equivalent.
• 10 years of IT database experience
• AWS Skills
• Neo4J
• DB expertise
