- Develop and coordinate customer and market facing communication activities including press releases, promotional announcements, E-blasts, and surveys.
- Ensure effective communication to our strategic marketplaces; responsible to measure results, manage processes and coordinate individual business market messages to match branding objectives.
- Assist in managing all stages of trade advertising including magazines, directories, and web-based advertising. Coordinate existing co-op advertising and leverage any new opportunities.
- Assist in executing advertising / promotion / cataloging strategies for Marketing. This will involve working with outside media contacts and executing media strategies for annual marketing plans.
- Maintain website, e-commerce promotional, and marketing operational activities.
- Coordinate annual trade show planning process, including show list development, goals, registrations, sponsorships, staffing, shipping requirements, vendors, and supplies.
- Maintain event project management software and event specific spreadsheets.
- Serve as representative with selected vendors to manage and coordinate quote, design, and printing of promotional activities.
- Purchase and distribute promotional materials to customers, business groups, and employees.
- Coordinate the centralization of market developments through contacts with educational institutions, professional organizations, publications, trade shows and customers.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing preferred, or equivalent experience required.
- Experience in technical or medical products preferred
- Experience with e-commerce marketing strategies (Google Ads, marketing automation, Word Press) is preferred.
- Willing to learn Adobe platforms, Word Press and Volusion Software
- Strong general computing skills such as MS Office
- Excellent oral, written and listening communication skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Office environment, but 20-30% of time will also be spent in production facilities, protective foot and eyewear required.
- 60% sitting, 20% walking, 20% standing required. Must be able to sit in a car or airplane for up to 4 hours.
- Must be able to lift and transport laptop computer and supplies to trade shows (up to 20 lbs.)
- Operate as an internal specialist of marketing activities to build effective communication programs.
- Occasional, long workdays to fulfill job requirements.
- Occasional overnight travel to attend conferences, trade shows and to assist with product installation.
