PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
IntraCare is seeking an experienced, full-time Controller able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This person will report directly to the VP of Finance and lead accounting and finance initiatives for the organization. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting foundation working within the healthcare industry with a mid-level company and its associated accounts.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate the monthly closing process, in compliance with U.S. GAAP, including oversight of all required journal entries and providing an analytical review of financial statements preparing them for presentation
- Analyze account trends and perform variance analysis to ensure the accuracy of the financial information
- Assist with recording revenue
- Assign duties to accounting team members and review work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures
- Assist in reconciling accounts as well as resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities on a timely basis
- Support the company’s financial audit process
- Lead the team in optimizing the ERP system, along with other financial systems as appropriate
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong understanding of operational finance and US GAAP
- Creative problem solver with outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Strong quantitative and organizational skills
- Efficient time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in the completion of projects
- Experience in healthcare or healthcare technology industry preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and team-management skills High integrity, independent and individually motivated
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5 years of related accounting experience with 3 years of leadership experience
- Must be proficient in MS Excel
- CPA preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity
- Possess a track record of success working and influencing a fast-paced, multi-unit / multi-region organization at all levels
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Experience in a high growth company preferred
Salary : $98,600 - $125,000
