Description
The ideal candidate is responsible for entry level developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and programs. They perform tasks such as designing and testing UI/UX (user interface/user experience), assists developers to adjust previously written code for new purposes, with the development of new software applications and/or programs, and work independently to troubleshoot and resolve business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with research and development, design software systems and applications.
- Performs engineering level tests to find defects; troubleshoot and debug development and production issues.
- Assists with designing and testing UI/UX.
- Work closely with the team and reports clearly and accurately to management.
- Troubleshoot, test, and validate software issues.
- Assists in the development, execution, and organization of technology-based business solutions.
- Updates documentation pertinent to role
- Assist with coding, evaluating, and executing configuration changes.
- Monitors the technical performance of external systems.
- Assists with managing multiple projects.
- Supports managing and resolving external help desk issues.
- Utilizes Power Apps and Power Platform to fulfill business needs.
- Perform other functions as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be enrolled under a Bachelor's or Master's degree at an accredited college, university, or technical/vocational institution.
- Majoring in an area of study related to the position (Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or Business Analytics).
- Must be inclined to learn new systems
- Knowledge of basic coding languages including C , HTML5, Python, and JavaScript preferred.
- Basic programming experience preferred.
- API knowledge, preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft is required. Excel/Word/Outlook

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to demonstrate the manual dexterity to operate a personal computer effectively.
- Able to communicate orally in a clear manner.
- Able to hear oral communication either in person or on equipment such as telephone or mobile phone.
- Able to operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop, for extended periods of time creating, composing and reviewing documents and spreadsheets.
- Able to operate office equipment, including telephone, mobile phone, photocopier, fax machine, scanner and calculator
- Ability to lift 10 lbs. occasionally for the duration of a shift
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
