Data Engineer:

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Data Engineer with experience in large network data, including designing, developing, and maintaining systems and architecture for acquisition, storage, and processing complex data sets to ensure the efficiency of our company’s operations.
Position Overview:
The Data Engineer is responsible for developing, constructing, testing, and maintaining data architectures including databases, data warehouses, and large-scale processing systems. They will be involved in all aspects of data processing, from ingestion to storage to analytics, and will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and implement solutions to meet those needs.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data flows for ingesting, validating, processing, and transforming large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Design and implement data models and schemas to support the organization's analytical and operational requirements. Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and quality throughout the integration process.
- Design, implement, and manage data storage solutions.
- Support the development and optimization algorithms for data transport, workflows, and complex processing large datasets across a globally distributed enterprise.
- Establish data quality standards and implement processes for data validation, cleansing, normalization, and enrichment.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines, databases, and processing systems. Identify and resolve bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- Document data flows, architectures, and processes to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in data engineering and apply them to improve existing systems and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proven experience as a data engineer or similar role, with a strong background in data management, data processing, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of database technologies, including relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
