Our company is currently looking for a professional individual to fill the role of a Administrative Assistant (AA). The AA will work directly for the Property Manager and provide assistance in managing daily operations at assigned properties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the general administration and maintenance of the property portfolio
  • Communicates effectively with tenants regarding Lease & billing questions, maintenance as well as all property-related issues ensuring needs are met while providing excellent customer service.
  • Schedules all required annual inspections for the properties.
  • Processes Lease abstracts and ensures accurate lease information into the accounting system.
  • Coordinate tenants move outs and move ins.
  • Prepares correspondences, notices and make collections calls to tenants.
  • Prepares all meeting agendas, notes for quarterly and annual POA meetings.
  • Participates in property inspections, on-site walk throughs with managers and owners.
  • Assist in obtaining bids from contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate across digital platforms and in-person
  • Detail oriented and highly organized and ability to multi-task
  • Effective time management, including prioritization of time sensitive items and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to support relationships with a broad range of customers, employees, vendors and stakeholders.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong integrity in all business dealings

Education Requirements, Work Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in property management or real estate a plus but not required
  • Yardi experience a plus but not required
  • Administrative experience

Physical Requirements:

  • This position primarily consists of working indoors in an office environment. In the course of the employee’s duties, he/she may travel to customer sites to perform essential job duties. Essential functions: The employee may be required to: sit, walk, or stand for extended periods, talk and hear with the ability to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, exchange information, to use the hands and fingers to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, or position, and see to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess.

Non-Disclosure/Non-Sollicitation/Non-Compete Agreement :

  • This policy is stated in the Employee Handbook, which will be supplied during the first month of employment. All employees of DHRP will be required to sign and adhere to this agreement.

Base Pay: Annual salary of $30,160, paid in bi-monthly installments, subject to deductions for taxes and other withholdings as required by the local law of the State of Texas or the policies of the company.
