We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Caregiver to work with a strong young male adult diagnosed with moderate to severe autism, under the Regional Center's care. The ideal candidate should possess experience in working with adults exhibiting moderate to severe autism, challenging behaviors, and OCD. Specialized training in behavior intervention is required to excel in this role. The caregiver will be responsible for providing personal assistance and support to enhance the individual's daily life.
Job Type: Part-time, minimum commitment of 100 hours per month (work timing negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal assistance and support to the young male adult in various daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and community outings.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies to address challenging behaviors associated with autism and OCD, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans, tailored to the needs and preferences of the individual.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes personal growth, independence, and social integration for the individual.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with adults diagnosed with moderate to severe autism and challenging behaviors, including OCD.
- Training and certification in behavior intervention techniques to effectively support individuals with autism.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License with insurance for community outings and transportation purposes.
- Willingness to undergo TB testing and fingerprinting, with the cost covered by the client.

Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need, including those with autism and working people.

Qualifications:
