Develops recurring or special reports of strategic HR projects aimed on re-shaping and improving HR data and systems as well as reports that will help to drive HR effectiveness and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees and maintains optimal function of the organizations internal HR information services systems, which may include database management, network support, installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.
- Leads projects related to HR systems and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensures that HR systems and software are properly installed, implemented and modified to meet changing business and technology. Analyzes business requirements and determines hardware and software requirements to meet data management needs. Ensures the integrity of internal database files, tables and reports.
- Provides education and technical support, troubleshooting and guidance to HR employees.
- Compiles or assists with acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by senior executives and HR staff.
- Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR database design and implementation projects.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.
- Ensures that systems and digital agenda is aligned/unified with global HR roadmap and systems
- Generate ideas and recommendations with other HR functions to better leverage HR IT and enhance HR data management including data quality, coverage and analytics
- Implement change management requirements, and support implementation and hand over of solutions to the business owners
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
- Hires, mentors and coaches team members in department.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resource Management or related field.
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- 5 years of experience in HR database management.
- Expertise in implementation of new projects related to Oracle Fusion, ADP, Time & Attendance, Employee Data.
- Align, communicate and influence local HR Leadership team to accept practices and approaches to ensure full implementation of CHRIS as well as digital agenda for DeCS Americas
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with CHRIS global team, global HR Leadership team and local and global IT teams and leaders across DPDHL
- Cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g. external service providers
- May lead negotiations
- High competency with HR systems and reporting.
- Analytical & problem solving skills to be able to analyze and interpret relevant data and metrics
- Fact base decision making and analytical skills, including critical thinking, reasoning and problem solving.
- Ability to support HR projects and dive into detail as needed to accomplish objectives.
- Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively under pressure with poise and professionalism.
- Regular sitting at work station for 25 - 75% of the work shift.
- Frequent standing and walking.
