Stripers execute precise road markings, ensuring safety and order on highways and parking lots. Responsibilities encompass layout design, surface preparation, and application of reflective paint or thermoplastic. Expertise in operating striping equipment is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Apply paint or other coatings to various surfaces using a brush or roller
• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and washing walls
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment, including ladders, scaffolding, and drop cloths
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to client specifications
• Follow safety procedures and regulations when working with potentially hazardous materials or equipment
• Inspect work to ensure that it meets quality standards and client expectations
• Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns that arise during the project

Requirements:

• Physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive tasks for long hours
• Knowledge of different types of paints and coatings
• Ability to mix and match colors to achieve desired results
• Understanding of safety measures and protocols related to handling chemicals and equipment
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Flexibility to work in different locations and shift timings
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team
• Experience in using different types of brushes, rollers, and spray guns
• Experience in using asphalt striping machines
• Experience in thermoplastic striping
• Ability to work out of area for multiple days in a row
• Up to date California drivers License

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $43,296.24 - $65,141.71 per year
