Context/Scope: Directly responsible for the overall performance of the PAB & Spirits Warehouse on Night Shift. This role leads 20 Warehouse Team Members (Shipping/Receiving Desk Leads and Forklift Drivers). The role is constantly handling multiple priorities across two warehouses on a shift and has responsibility for two different Crews. Make in-the-moment decisions to positively impact, safety, quality, and production. Key Outputs: Zero LTA’s Optimize traffic through the Yard Management System SAP inventory reconciliation for Materials and Finished Goods Ensure the right training is provided to the Warehouse Team Members. Deliver daily 5s methodologies Deliver DPL targets according to schedules Minimal DT to production lines from AGV truckoff Management of labor to minimize OT spend Purpose of Role: Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and implementing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Provide business leadership to ensure that team meets or exceeds Supply Excellence critical metrics. Follows federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; carrying out adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols Key Outputs: Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees Maintains warehouse staff job results by rewarding, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees Drive continuous improvement and total employee engagement in critical success areas by empowering employees to apply Supply Excellence tools and techniques. Responsible for SAP Materials and Finished Goods reconciliations, scheduling vacations, and verifying payroll sheets Ensure efficient warehouse operation is achieved and standards are met. Optimize safety, quality, food safety, 5s, and cost objectives through employee involvement and team building approach to root cause problem solving and continuous improvement Ensure production databases are properly maintained and information used Support all safety and food safety audits and responsible for all corrective action items are completed, and all Warehouse Team members understand the goals. Generate ideas and implement changes in processes and use of equipment to increase efficiency, improve safety and quality, reduce costs, and improve employee morale. Builds and maintains relationships that motivate, guide, and/or reinforce the breakthrough performance of others toward goal accomplishments. Develops self and others to improve performance in current role and to prepare for future roles; seeks and provides feedback and coaching to enhance performance. Ensure consistent performance of AGV’s. Work with necessary resource to keep AGV’s running consistently to satisfy production lines. Lead labor to minimize costs of labor and overtime. Qualifications and Experience Required: Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience is required. Ideally minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in Logistics, Warehouse or Operations preferably in the best in class manufacturing environment with GMPs and/or a highly regulated industry or an equivalent of experience including education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
