What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cargiver needed for VA Client on Hospice Care for short evening shift position at Dial-a-Nurse?
We are looking for a caring HHA / CNA for a sweet VA Client who is hospice care and bedridden.
We are an established and busy Home Health Agency with over 40 Years’ experience. Our ideal caregivers are compassionate, respectful and reliable looking to start immediately!
Responsibilities:
- Provide health care services in patients residence
- Perform domestic and household tasks for VA Client ONLY
- Assist with prescribed medications
- Assist with clients personal care
- Monitor and report patients vital signs, (temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Meal preparations
- Provide companionship and basic emotional support
Skills:
- Proven working experience as home health aide/Certified Nursing Assistant
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Proficiency in English
- Caring and compassionate personality
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License or Photo ID, & or Permanent Resident Card, Employment Authorization
- Social Security Card
- HHA Certified or CNA License/Certification
- CPR - American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- HIV/AIDS certificate
- Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication
- Alzheimer certificate
- Auto insurance
