The longest serving Home Health Agency in SWFL is looking for a new Director of Nursing. Dial-a-Nurse is a family-owned business that has been serving the Naples/Fort Myers area for over forty years.
The Director of Nursing position is perfect for those looking to earn extra income and/or those who are interested in a position with a lot of flexibility in terms of hours and scheduling. This job is ideal for parents who need availability for their children and for those who would like to choose their own hours. Responsibilities:
- Available for new client phone intake
- Scheduling and completing in home living room visits
- Creates and revises Care Plan for clients via personal visits to assess patient requirements for care.
- Conducts on-going assessment of patients
- Records all clinical and progress notes and enters them into the patient’s permanent record files
- Responsible for overseeing any medical issues as it relates to clients and staff.
- Education/Discipline of caregivers
- Monitors and Reviews Hurricane Plans
- Conduct Quarterly Quality and Assurance assessments.
- Communicates with clients and families
- Speak with Staff/families during client emergencies
- Available for State Surveys
Experience/Qualifications:
· RN license active and in good standing.
· 1 Year in a Supervisory Role
