What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Supervisor position at Dial Help?

The primary responsibilities of this full-time position consist of: providing the overall clinical supervision of Dial Help’s staff, setting the clinical direction of programs, and assisting with department expansion. Some direct services, as needed, will also be required. Position also includes some on call time.

Qualifications: LPC or MSW required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in human services required with emphasis on crisis intervention, counseling, and or mental health. Preference given to those clinicians who have supervisory experience. Must possess ability to work with others individually and as a team.

Supervision: The Clinical Supervisor is responsible to the Executive Director.

Supervises: This position provides clinical supervision to all service positions at Dial Help, as well as establishing and maintaining norms, standards, and expansion within the program.

Responsibilities:

Plans, organizes, and oversees the Mental Behavioral Health Services Program

Effectively communicates program, administrative, and clinical direction to staff

Attend individual and team meetings to provide clinical support, intervention, and supervision related to clients, programs, and services.

Discusses problem cases with workers and makes suggestions and recommendations

Facilitate staff hiring, training, and evaluations of both staff and student interns.

Reviews program and contract content to insure that it meets agency philosophy and goals and that Dial Help’s practices follow local, State and Federal contract mandates.

Meets regularly with the Executive Director and/or other Division Heads to discuss programs and staff needs.

Assist with development and revision of Personnel Policies

Provide counseling as needed

Participate on the on-call schedule for crisis assessments at Portage ED.

Assist agency in other duties as assigned by Executive Director

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,650.00 - $63,688.00 per year
