Summary:
Prepares meals according to the cycle menu and modifications breakdown. Thaws meat, prepares meals and maintains high standards of following sanitary procedures. Assists in the establishment of standardized recipes and portion sizes. Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and equipment in a safe, clean, ventilated kitchen.
Essential Duties:
Ensures proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to standardized recipes.
Assist in cleaning, sweeping, and mopping kitchen and dining area.
Set up steam line and assures proper tray assembly for mealtimes.
Assist in receiving and stocking groceries and supplies.
Supervises all dietary employees in the absence of the dietary manager.
Other duties as assigned.
Keep all knowledge of residents confidential.
