Job Description - Medical Receptionist CMA / Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM or 7:30AM - 4:30PM and no weekends
WE are GROWING: Diamond Health is searching for an outstanding Medical Receptionist Medical Assistant for our concierge Practice in Dallas (One Preston Center). Patients, referred to as members, receive direct access to board certified physicians 24 hours a day.
We have an opening for a dedicated exceptional Medical Receptionist CMA to support the Practice overall and Chiropractic patients, which includes medical receptionist activities, CMA duties and Chiropractic patient assistance as well as general office management tasks.
Our practice model is centered around having a strong patient-physician relationship. For this multi-purpose role, we are seeking an individual with an outgoing personality that serves our patients with heightened sensitivity by providing a personalized Diamond Experience with each engagement. When our clients walk or call into the office, we want them to find a friendly, smiling face and a helping hand.
This position requires excellent communication, multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a strong ethical approach to handling customer service in a medical setting. Attention to all daily tasks and a commitment to a strong work ethic and desire to learn. Maturity, polished and dependability is a must.
Responsibilities include: As a collaborative efficient practice, everyone on our team has multiple duties - the specific duties of our ideal Medical
Assistant candidate would include:
· Rooming patients when seen in our office
· Lab draws (phlebotomy experience a must)
· Injections (steroids, antibiotics, vaccinations)
· Spirometry
· EKG
· Help coordinate care outside of our office (imaging, referrals, etc.)
· Enter vitals and data in patient charts utilizing our Electronic Medical Record (Elation and HINT is a plus)
· Invoicing clients
· Cleaning patient rooms and ensuring office is tidy
· Highly experienced using software programs such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Leading Reach, HINT
Qualifications:
The ideal applicant should have the following characteristics:
· Certified Medical Assistant – as a minimum qualification
· Outstanding customer service skills are a MUST
· Professional and respectful phone skills are a MUST
· Strong experience and comfort with learning office and clinical software
· Ability to communicate effectively with both physicians and patients
· Ability to adapt to situations as needed
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
