What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aftercare Provider position at Diamond Hill Montessori School?
Diamond Hill Montessori is seeking a competent and dedicated aftercare provider to join our fabulous team of educators and support our teachers in providing an authentic Montessori program. To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, be patient and compassionate, and have a genuine love for working with children. There is also great potential for subbing opportunities that can evolve into full time staffing. This position is available from August 29, 2024.
Founded in January 2001, Diamond Hill Montessori is a Toddler and Primary school that serves children between the ages of 2.5 - 6 years in Berkeley Heights, NJ. We are an inclusive, fun-loving program committed to our legacy of providing a joyful learning experience and a respectful working environment that nurtures and develops the whole child.
Requirements:
- Experience in a classroom setting working with parents and children
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Commitment to the enrichment of young children and the Montessori philosophy in addition to a strong work ethic and collaborative mindset
- Capability to plan and facilitate educational and recreational activities
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation: DHMS provides a competitive annual salary commensurate with experience.
