POSITION SUMMARY:

The Logistics Coordinator is a vital part to warehouse operations. You are responsible for the route movement outgoing / incoming shipments, quality assurance checks, transportation delivery and maintaining accurate logs as assigned by the warehouse manager. You are organized and logical, service oriented, and willing to adapt quickly to change in plans. You must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced and pressured environment and have the ability to communicate effectively with teams and management. You balance hard labour and admin tasks and enjoy working to achieve operational excellence. You are eager to learn about supply chain management, take the opportunity to learn whenever you can. You aid and assist recruitment of logistics staff and training and are always practising safety rules and regulations.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Warehouse runs as required
• Coordinate shipping when required
• Assist in tracking assets in our warehouses outside of Ontario.
• Place orders for Warehouse as required
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
• Perform any other duties per Supervisor’s request.
• Assist in reporting missing / damaged assets to team members
• Track and coordinate internal asset inventory
• Communicate shipments and work closely logistics/production
• Expedite special/delayed orders
• Monitor the delivery/return of all assets to our local warehouse.
• Track and monitor warehouse billing

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Forklift certification a MUST
• G2 driver’s license a must / will be asked to provide a driving record
• Some warehouse experience
• Strong organizational project management skills
• Understand all aspects of shipping.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Focus on organization, planning, and execution
• Problem solving
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel
• Strong ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Task oriented, with a specific focus on completing tasks and meeting deadlines
