We are a fast-growing freight brokerage seeking an experienced freight broker to join our team.
Candidates should have at least 1 year of dispatching and/or sales experience in the transportation industry, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should also be able to multi-task, work well under pressure and keep a positive attitude. Employment will require drug/alcohol screening.
Diamond Logistics is a third-party provider of logistics solutions. Unlike other freight brokers, we operate on the belief that we have succeeded only if both the shipper and the carrier leave satisfied. We adhere to three fundamental principles: Don’t lie, don’t cheat, and don’t steal.
We are currently seeking freight brokers to join our fast-growing logistics team. This position manages daily freight sales, which requires a self-motivated individual who has field expertise of logistics solutions. Desirable candidates will have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and
Outlook, have the ability to multi-task, good time management skills, work well under pressure, and keep a positive attitude. Duties will include managing existing accounts, prospecting shippers for freight management opportunities, providing customer service to both the shipper and carrier, negotiating freight rates, creating dispatches with propriety software, sourcing and dispatching carriers, tracking shipments through completion, and other duties as required.
Hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime and after hour calls.
