What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Warehouse position at Diamond Marine Services?
Position Summary
To transport and deliver products to customers by applying knowledge of company procedures and state driving regulations, within specific geographical areas. Driver will be responsible for: driving to and from designated locations, verifying products being picked-up and delivered, and performing pre and post delivery loading/unloading and inspections.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Operate company provided vehicle in accordance with company safety policies & procedures.
Conduct inspection of vehicles to ensure safe working order/condition.
Contact customers before delivery to confirm delivery location and provide ETA.
Deliver products ordered politely and within time frame to ensure a great customer experience.
Physically load and unload delivery vehicle.
Communicate with office throughout day to ensure good communication and on-time deliveries.
Knowledge, Skills Abilities
Clean driving record.
One year of experience driving a delivery van or box truck.
Must satisfactorily pass a background check and random drug tests.
Professional and courteous attitude.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Ability and desire to work outdoors in various types of weather.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., frequently perform heavy pushing/pulling of product, and work in refrigerated conditions.

Required license or certification
Valid Driver's License with a history of no suspensions or at fault accidents within the last five years, no DUI/DWI within the past seven years.
Must meet the defined MVR standards at all times to remain qualified to drive company motor vehicle.
Must have valid TWIC card & Driver License
