Product Specialist
The Product Specialist will serve as the primary technical resource for the Sales Operations Specialists, the Regional Sales Managers, and our dealers. This role is considered a product expert on either product families or the entire product portfolio. This role interfaces with dealers, customers, sales, customer service, engineering, and the factory.

Dealer training and on-boarding
Engineering and sales liaison
Sales Operations support and customer engagement
Responsibilities:
Serve as a product expert that supports the field sales team from a technical perspective.
Work closely with the sales team as a technical advisor and product advocate.
Conduct training with our sales team on product application and configuration, as needed.
Participate in sales calls as a technical expert, as needed.
Lead the bid specification writing and response process.
Construct basic reach models and diagrams.
Utilize Salesforce to identify and advance stuck opportunities.
Communicate effectively internally and externally.
Maintain relationships and strives to provide excellent customer service.
Contribute knowledge toward literature and materials to be used in training programs.
Document any lessons learned and communicate back to proper channels at Diamond.
Serve as onsite coach/expert for demos and in-services when necessary.
Lead in-person application reviews with dealers/customers.
All other duties are performed as necessary.
Qualifications/Prior Experience (preferred):
2-3 years of technical background with products, hands on experienced operator
1-3 years delivering technical training preferred.
Continuous knowledge development when not in a training setting
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Must be proficient in: MS Office, CRM
1-3 years delivering technical training preferred.
Continuous knowledge development when not in a training setting
Formal presentation skills
Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively with DM coworkers, vendors and customers.
Coach and mentor others.
Physical job requirements for 8-hour shift
Analytical and decision-making skills
Manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines.
Independent problem-solving abilities
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to travel 25%.
Location and Hours:
Location: Cherokee St
Hours: 8:00-5:00
Days of Shift: Monday-Friday
