```Duties```
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and billing and coding for insurance purposes.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare patients for examinations by collecting medical history and relevant information.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Conduct basic in-house laboratory tests and blood draw for send-out blood tests
- Provide patient education on medication instructions, diet, exercise, and general wellness.
```Qualifications```
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to accurately document patient information.
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks, including appointment scheduling and insurance billing.
- Familiarity with coding systems such as ICD-10-CM and CPT.
- Ability to perform basic clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering injections, phlebotomy, and conducting laboratory tests.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and care.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to assist healthcare providers during examinations.
