What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician position at Diana Zabarko OD?
A private optometry office in Wayne NJ is looking to add another great member to our team. The ideal candidate is punctual, upbeat and willing to deliver the best patient care experience.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Performing all pre-examination testing with accuracy and attention to detail; explaining all testing components and answers any questions the patient may have.
- Confirm appointments and contact/reschedule no shows and cancellations.
- Maintain a professional atmosphere and appearance of doctor's exam lane and pre-test equipment.
- Maintain the contact lens supplies and inventory
Knowledge of basic ophthalmic medical terminology, ability to complete patient work up including but not limited to auto-refraction, FDT, OCT, Corneal Topography is required.
