We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our firm, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellence in service delivery. This individual will work closely with senior management to implement best practices, streamline processes, and drive operational excellence across all areas of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the firm's operational activities, including client onboarding, account administration, and transaction processing, to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems to improve productivity, mitigate risks, and enhance client experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including financial advisors, compliance officers, and IT professionals, to identify and address operational challenges and opportunities.
- Manage client relationships and serve as a point of contact for operational inquiries, escalations, and resolution of issues.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization and efficiency gains.
- Drive technology initiatives and system enhancements to automate processes, streamline workflows, and enhance operational capabilities.
- Prepare and present regular reports and updates on operational performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP, FINRA licenses) preferred.
- Minimum of four years of experience in operations management, preferably within the wealth management or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial products, investment vehicles, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM and portfolio management systems.
