Diaz Anselmo & Associates P.A. is a certified minority owned AV rated law firm and has provided legal services to the banking and mortgage industry, with an emphasis in Judicial State practice, for over 30 years.
The Firm concentrates on creditor’s rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, and real estate transactions. Our practice serves Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio and Kentucky.
This is a great opportunity for an exceptional, motivated and results orientated Bankruptcy Associate Attorney who has experience in Default Services/Creditor’s Rights/Bankruptcy. Please note that this position can be considered a Remote work opportunity.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Review and sign documents and pleadings.
- Draft and execute documents and perform legal research
- Attend court hearings/matters for bankruptcy matters.
- Update the Firm/Clients on state specific bankruptcy changes
Qualifications/Requirements:
- In Good Standing with the States of Ohio and Kentucky with current bar membership
- Admission into the Bankruptcy Courts in Ohio and Kentucky. Indiana is a plus.
- Ability to deal with legal issues in a practical and efficient manner.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills.
