The primary responsibility of the Systems Data Specialist-Lauris is to manage the entire life cycle of the Lauris Consumer database for the Supported Employment Department and the Day Support Department. The Data Specialist regularly performs quality checks to maintain the integrity of the Lauris System.
The Systems Data Specialist also acts as a backup for the Systems Data Specialist in the ADP Database.
Reviews and enters all Referral documents received from the funding source (DARS, MD DORS, etc.)
Reviews and enters all Consumer Record Change Forms into the Lauris Consumer database and in the Lauris DAY database for all consumers served by Didlake's Supported Employment services and Didlake's Day Support services. This includes additions, changes, and deletions to the Person details, Funding details, Service details, Emergency Contact details, Placement details, and any special comments details.
Reviews and enters all data entry in the Lauris Consumer database and the Lauris DAY database for Supported Employment and for Day Support referrals, funding, intakes, placements, and discharges using various forms of documentation provided by Supported Employment staff and the Day Support staff. Makes sure all non-system forms are scanned and imported to the consumer records.
Reviews and enters all LTESS monthly and yearly additions, changes, or deletions including quality assurance.
Manages the consumer funding process including data entry, document scanning and importing, and creating and distributing the Service Starts and Service Ends reports showing new funding and closed funding for consumers for quality assurance and data integrity verification for both Supported Employment and Day Support. These reports are submitted to the Didlake Corporate Financial Analyst
Creates and distributes monthly and quarterly Placement reports showing new placements and terminated placements to the Didlake Corporate Financial Analyst.
Updates and inputs all Lauris data entry SOPs for the Lauris Consumer, the Lauris DAY, and the Lauris Associate databases.
Assists with Supported Employment and Day Support data management processes to include long-term and short-term consumer electronic filing updates and quality assurance.
Assists Supported Employment and Day Support management staff with other data entry and reporting projects as needed.
Coordinates with Supported Employment Administrative Assistant on all quality assurance processes and ensures that the data and documents in the Lauris Consumer database are quality checked after entry. This includes quality assurance of the funding data entry by the Support Employment Administrative Assistant.
Works with Supported Employment and Day Support staff to obtain correct information for data entry into the Lauris Consumer database and the Lauris DAY database.
Assists System Development and IT staff on systems and data entry projects as requested.
Completes and maintains all Didlake required training.
Works with Lauris Technical Support on problems with or for creating new system forms in any of the three databases.
Generates and distributes bi-monthly, monthly, and year-end reports from Lauris Consumer Database.
Distributes any Ability One employee additions, changes, or deletions to the ADP Database entry person.
Prints and distributes to Supported Employment all Ticket To WorkAbility One employee's paystubs each pay period. Creates and distributes the New Hire/Rehire Associates and Consumers report from the ADP system to go with the paystubs.
Backup for all entries in the ADP Database.
Completes and maintains all required Didlake training.

Education:
High School diploma/GED plus two (2) years of relevant administrative work experience in the human service field.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to interact with the public, coworkers, and Didlake clients positively and professionally required.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changes quickly while meeting deadlines.
Great organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
Basic computer and database experience with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
Ability to carry out instructions in written and/or oral form.
Ability to collect data, define problems, investigate and establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
