Responsibilities include :
- Plan and develop in-store specials, merchandising, and display programs to increase sales and profits for the Dairy/Frozen Foods department and the store.
- Work with vendors and sales representatives to maximize current and new food items.
- Maintain a highly effi cient selection of products, ensuring overall quality and price.
- Order merchandise to achieve the proper balance and ensure shelves are adequately stocked.
- Focus on better execution of programs, procedures, and policies to contribute to the ongoing success of Dierbergs.
- Be a presence on the sales floor, engaging in personalized customer interactions.
- Stock an average of 60 cases per hour.
- Lift up to 65 lbs.
- Work in varied temperature-controlled environments; coolers and freezers.
- Keep the work area safe and clean using company-approved equipment.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, business acumen, follow-through, dependability, organizational skills, and strategic planning abilities.
