CNC Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

This is a startup business looking to expand into the marketplace of fabrication. We are looking to offer Benefits and PTO within the next year once the right team is assembled.

Duties:
- Program, Set up, and Operate CNC machines and Laser Engravers.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine machining operations
- Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Make adjustments to machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality of the finished parts
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to assemble parts according to specifications
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with VCarve or similar CAD software is a plus
- Knowledge of logic controllers is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Internship

Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
