Handyman (Vermilion Estate)
Independence Construction (IC) is looking for an experienced Handyman to join our team. As a Handyman you’re responsible for: general handyman jobs such as small concrete repairs, cleaning windows, caulking and sealing windows, small odd jobs such as reinstalling a soap dispenser, repairing holes in drywall, painting, pressure washing, etc. This will be a full time position.

A typical day looks like:
- Performing minor fixes such as light carpentry work, repairing broken locks, spackling, painting, drywall, etc
- Conducting maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, HVAC belt changes, etc.
- Collaborating with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Reporting to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
- Performing cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, and cleaning up job site debris
- Other duties as assigned.
Do you have what it takes?
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- General construction knowledge and skillset
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
- Ability to work in all weather
- Must be punctual and reliable
