Job Posting for Prior Authorization Specialist at Digestive Care Center
Digestive Care Center is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist in our Newburgh Office. The Prior Authorization Specialist is responsible for obtaining prior authorizations for biologic medications, imaging and medication authorizations for all locations.
What You Need for this Position:
- High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
- Previous experience working prior authorizations preferred.
- 3 years medical office experience required.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Completes all prior authorizations for biologic medications in a timely manner.
- Maintains all aspects of prior authorizations for the infusion center/office clinic including denials.
- Coordinates imaging and medication authorizations for clinic/office.
- Other duties as assigned.
