Digestive Medicine Associates is a gastroenterology and hepatology practice serving the Greater Miami / Hialeah / Miami Lakes & South Broward area that comprises eight physicians with four office locations and an affiliated endoscopy center – The Palmetto Surgery Center. Our Board-Certified physicians are experts of all gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreas diseases and treatments.

We are searching for a detail-oriented IT Analyst to join our Medical Practice. The IT Analysts' responsibilities include to manage the development and implementation of all components of the health centers clinical and financial information systems and to be able to develop optimization strategies providing excellent customer service.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • This is a technical position responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software as well as providing customer support to end-users.
  • Knowledge and ability to install, configure, and maintain PC hardware, peripheral and application software.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot PC hardware, software, and peripherals to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Manages printers, including installing Network and Local Printers, troubleshooting technical and mechanical issues, ordering and replacing toner cartridges.
  • Deploys computers throughout Company, performs set-up, cloning and imaging.
  • Support users with scanners, both desktop and hand held devices, including device set-up, configuring and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Set up passwords, file and program access for users.
  • Manage the assignment of licensing permission and installation of software applications.
  • Manages the installation of interfaces between multiple systems.
  • Monitors and troubleshoot network performance and resolve issues such as bandwidth problems, ISP issues and firewall/router changes.
  • Assists with Voice and Data Ethernet cable pulls and end terminations.
  • Document assets for inventory management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Operating System and Office Suite Program.
  • Perform diagnosis on various devices utilizing 3rd party computer health diagnostic tools.
  • Utilizes 3rd party remote software such as VNC Client, RDP, Team Viewer, and Proxy Master to connect customer desktop to remote support.
  • Performs preventative maintenance services on a prescribed schedule.
  • Develops documentation of "lessons learned" and authors knowledge based articles.
  • Reports problems or proposed solutions, chooses best solution and course of action.
  • Log all incidents and service requests on a weekly basis on Service Management Spreadsheet.
  • Must be able to gather and analyze information to determine best course of action based on general guidelines or set procedures.
  • Maintain network and telephone cabling and provide hands-on support for network, server, storage and telephone systems.
  • Maintain security on the medical office computer system. This includes the installation and upkeep of anti-virus, anti-spyware and adware software programs.

· Participates in development and implementation of standard operating procedures, identification, and resolution of problems related to the utilization of clinical systems and staff workflow, and provides feedback, counseling, and retraining when appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science, IT or similar.
  • Practical experience installing and maintaining systems is recommended.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately
  • Allscripts and Provation experience a PLUS

· Keep abreast of IT developments and have the ability to quickly diagnose tech-related problems.

· Able to move between company multiple locations as needed.

  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Must be vaccinated against Covid-19 by time of start date.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
