Position: Light Industrial Maintenance Helper


Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Light Industrial Maintenance Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with maintenance and repair tasks in our manufacturing plant. You will work closely with our maintenance team and operate under the guidance of more experienced maintenance workers.


Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with general maintenance tasks including cleaning, painting and repairs
  • Troubleshoot equipment and machinery malfunctions
  • Assist with routine equipment checks
  • Replace filters, belts and other machinery components
  • Assist with the installation of new machinery and equipment
  • Perform basic welding, plumbing and electrical work
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe and productive work environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Training or work experience in a related field preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of maintenance processes
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
  • Must be able to work independently and efficiently
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn on the job
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

This is a full-time, hourly position with room for growth within the company. The Light Industrial Maintenance Helper will work Monday through Friday day shift. We offer a competitive hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package.
