Temporary Receiver (2-3month long commitment) Monday-Friday 3:30pm-10:00pm Starting Wage: $16.00/hr Position Overview Receiving Representatives in Fargo are important players at DigiKey. As a Receiving Representative, you will process all inbound product, verifying manufacturer part numbers, quantities, other part information and the integrity of the parts and ensure that DigiKey product is of the highest quality available for our customers. In our Fargo location, many people are cross-trained into other positions. Apply today and let’s see where your career can take you!   Key Responsibilities In a busy warehouse environment, you will be trained for the following responsibilities: Open freight cartons  Verify manufacturer part numbers on products against supplier pack lists Verify quantities, package type, date/lot code information, other part attributes and then receive into software system Move pallet freight to appropriate pickup area for reserve picking reps Pick parts in an assigned zone, quickly and accurately using I-Pick Scanner Prepackage product for bin/emergency stock Assist with exception counts Inspect quality of the product before prepackaging Perform packaging tasks, such as: review pack lists to verify correct quantities, verify correct parts have been picked, box product and prepare for shipping Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience High School diploma or equivalent; work history may be considered in place of diploma Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English Basic computer navigation and typing skills required Ability to actively participate as a team member in order to meet departmental goals Positive, professional and enthusiastic outlook or perspective Ability to change focus quickly based on requests by employees/management Able to solve problems quickly and efficiently Dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success Regular and consistent attendance due to need to access physical equipment Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motion Capable of spending 8-10 hours walking/standing on concrete Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height Must demonstrate the following behavioral competencies: attention to detail, customer/client focus, ethical conduct, manages execution, personal effectiveness/credibility, and positive attitude Digi‑Key Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
