Job Summary
Benchmark Technology Group is part of a triad of companies seeking an Executive Assistant who enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment in a job that has a high degree of diversity and autonomy in a growing organization. Our companies have lead the industry for 65 and 35 years and we have just launched a new affiliate, Avivatech, to focus on our software products. This is a new position as a result of growth creating an opportunity for someone who is bright, technical, detail oriented, organized and a quick learner to support the President and C-level staff. It’s important to have the ability to multitask and effectively juggle priorities and be responsive to urgent requests and deadlines. A high degree professionalism and discretion is essential in communication with clients and employees as well as handling exposure to sensitive information and confidential discussions. In representing the office of the C-suite, it’s expected to be enthusiastic, a technology advocate, helpful to others and interject humor to push through adversity. You are essential to our success!
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managing daily schedules, commitments and arranging for occasional travel
- Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and minutes as required
- Assisting in preparing, proof-reading and enhancing proposals (Word, Excel)
- Creating compelling presentations (Word, PowerPoint, Adobe products) from drafts
- Analyzing data and developing reports from derived analytics (Excel)
- Managing electronic document distribution (DocuSign)
- Performing initial research about products and companies
- Following up with other managers
- Assisting in HR administration and employee communications
- Providing candid advisory services
Education and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, Marketing or related field preferred
- 2-5 years of administrative experience preferred
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, effectively convey information, ability to multitask
- Must possess entrepreneurial passion and willingness to wear multiple hats
- Must be creative and detail-oriented
- Must be agile in determining and managing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Ability to work well without supervision
- Confidentiality a must in this position
- Expert Windows PC skills including MS Office/365, Adobe Products, DocuSign
- Graphics and website design are a plus
