A Day in the Life
As a Dental Receptionist at Digital Smiles, a typical day might include the following:
- Arriving at 8:00 to huddle with your team to celebrate yesterday’s wins, address the opportunities, and prepare for today’s patients. You walked in prepared and ready!
- Greeting a new patient and then helping gather all the necessary medical and insurance information needed.
- An emergency walks in and you help the get them back so the doctor can find out the cause of the problem.
- Helping update the hygiene charts as the patients come if for their cleaning.
- Reach out to overdue patients so that they can keep their mouth in a health state.
- Talking to a new patient over the phone eliminating their fears and concerns as you tell them about our office.
- Creating a treatment plan and educating a patient as to the reasons why the treatment is necessary and then discussing payment options.
- Get ready for a once a week meeting with our Regional Manager to discuss your individual Key Performance Indicators and how you can be better yourself.

What Winning Looks Like
How we will measure your performance:
- It ain’t perfect, but the production of dentistry (in dollars) really aligns with how well you are delivering care to the population. We will be measuring your performance daily, weekly, monthly, etc and expect you to be comfortable with this and have a continual desire to improve your outcomes.
- We measure patient satisfaction scores specific to every provider, and we will be asking patients if they trust you and if they want to return after meeting you. Our success as an industry is directly ties to how well our patients feel that we’ve met their needs, and we expect you to do everything in your power to make this work.

Summary:
To land this gig, we really need you to have experience with (or the desire to learn) dental software.
