Minimum Technical Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Governance Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance principles, data management practices, and architectural design.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance objectives and priorities aligned with business goals.

• Design and implement data governance processes for data acquisition, storage, usage, and disposal.

• Lead data governance initiatives, including the establishment of data stewardship roles and responsibilities.

• Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on data governance best practices and standards.

• Evaluate and select data governance tools and technologies to support the organization's data management strategy.

• Conduct assessments and audits to monitor compliance with data governance policies and regulations.

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data governance practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

• 10 years of experience in data governance, data management, and architecture.

• Strong understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, metadata management, and data lineage.

• Proficiency in data modeling, data integration, and data security concepts.

• Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or IBM InfoSphere.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• data governance, data management, and architecture: 10 years (Required)
• implement data governance processes for data acquisition: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• West Sacramento, CA 95605: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
