Quality Inspector/Technician

Dimatic is currently looking for a Quality Inspector/Technician. This individual will be responsible for measuring parts from our molding, tooling, and press department. They will work closely with our Quality Lead and Quality Supervisor while working on First Article Inspections, End of Runs, Count Corrections, and other tasks as needed. Ideal candidates have a good eye for detail, self driven, and very organized. While no prior quality experience is required, it is strongly preferred.

1. Responsible for verifying quality of parts within the plant through various quality procedures including first article inspections, quality rounds, spot checks, PPAPs, or other quality procedures.

2. Responsible for visual quality inspections.

3. Responsible for communicating with department leads when quality issues are found or when parts have been approved for production.

4. Responsible for checking quality of parts through the use of gauges, calipers, CMMs, Optical Comparators, or other measurement devices as needed.

5. Responsible for ensuring parts being made match the standards of our company and of our customer.

6. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
