The Technology Department at Dimensional leverages the rapidly evolving state of the art to engineer the platforms that power the innovative, research-driven financial and technical products to improve our client’s financial lives. This Product Manager role supporting Investment Operations is a highly visible role with responsibility for the Investment Operations roadmap and strategic vision; including strategic partnership alignment with multiple teams throughout Technology, Investment Analytics and Data, Global Client Group, Portfolio Management and Finance & Accounting. They will be responsible for the design, development, delivery, and ongoing support of several technology platforms and solutions in support of the Investment Operations Group and other cross-functional initiatives. Responsibilities: Develop and drive the product and service roadmap for the Investment Operations department Influence and drive complex conversations with executives and senior leaders Work with the business to understand current business and customer processes and look for opportunities to leverage technology solutions and increase automation and drive scale Stay informed on 3rd party vendors and technology, coordinate RFI/RFP activities as appropriate Partner with technology engineering team and alignment with technology focused roadmap requirements; including implementation for products and services supporting Investment Operations Develop business cases for initiatives including internal/external cost considerations Lead, mentor, and coach a team of business analysts Manage vendor relationships, software license and consultant contracts and monitor associated financial commitments Collaborate with cross functional teams across the organization as well as external vendors to deliver solutions Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required 5 years of relevant work experience in product management, business analysis, or software development; prior experience in financial services highly desired Prior experience in managing an integrated Investment Operations tech stack Understanding of the Investment Operations software vendor landscape Prior experience with project management, quality assurance and operations Broad understanding of Agile software development and the ability to lead cross-functional distributed teams to provide successful outcomes Continuous learner and independent thinker who can work collaboratively with others Prior experience managing multiple vendors, contract and associated financial commitments Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Preferred Attributes and Competencies: An open-minded, curious, and resourceful approach to work Passion for and stay current with modern technologies Solve problems systematically and transparently Share ideas, solicit/integrate feedback, design and solve collaboratively Dimensional offers a variety of programs to help take care of you, your family, and your career, including comprehensive benefits, educational initiatives, and special celebrations of our history, culture, and growth.
