Position Overview:
The Aftermarket Part Sales Representative position is responsible for evaluating and completing requests for quotes, orders and services regarding DTS Chiller units in an expedited manner while helping the company meet or exceed the budget and margin objectives. The candidate for this position is an individual who is energetic, professional, a passionate team player with experience in contributing to a driven and results-oriented team. This position will be able to effectively communicate, foster relationships and grow systems within the sales and service department and improve communication with customers, both internal and external.

  • Minimum 2-4 years customer service experience.
  • Sales experience or client-facing background is a plus.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent, required. Some post high school education in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Clear understanding of the department regarding how processes affect quality, cost, and delivery objectives within Dimplex Thermal Solutions.
  • Delivery of awesome customer service to internal and external customers.
    • Able to anticipate and exceed the expectations of coworkers and customers.
    • Understand customer objectives and develop the best possible solution to meet those objectives.
    • Upsell components and services by being knowledgeable in DTS products and services.
  • Processing and sending quotations to customers within the expected timeframe.
    • Create quotes for parts or service requested by customers.
    • Follow up on all quotations with an outbound email or call.
  • Process customer’s orders same day received.
  • Processing customer credit cards.
  • Take ownership of all orders, start to finish.
    • Track backorders, production builds and drop shipments.
    • Provide customers with tracking information the following day.
  • Cross training with our Paid Services Coordinators for a better understanding of DTS processes.
  • Coordinate and schedule services between customers and contractors including follow-up for quotes, reports and invoices.
  • Process contractor invoices.
  • Continuous improvement
    • Make recommendations on improving the quotation and sales process.
    • Be aware of market trends.
  • Complete various other requested tasks assigned by supervisor.
Future Opportunities and Goals:
  • This position will prepare an individual to be successful in an Inside Sales Rep position and possibility then on to a Regional Sales Manager or Market Manager position. Specific goals and timelines will be addressed on an individual basis.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
