Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic kitchen environment.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and cooking.
- Manage and lead a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure high-quality food is prepared and presented according to established standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to maintain stock levels.
- Implement and maintain proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials.
- Manage kitchen budgets and control costs effectively.
Skills:
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of food service management principles, including inventory control and cost management.
- Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Experience in shift management, banquet operations, or dietary department is a plus.
