Job Summary:
Leads PMO integration activities required for the successful implementaion of an enterprise-wide electronic health records system. Integration activities bridge the eight primary task areas of the Health IT Modernization Program and is a critical focus area. These eight task areas include project management, acquisition and business management support, PMO operations,systems engineering management support, implementation and deployment management support, testing and verification, transistion-in, and transistion-out.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates integration activities with the PMO, System Integrator, OCM Vendor, and Functional stakeholders.
- Conducts recurring meetings with the Integration Leads for the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) and Division of Health Information Technology Modernization Officer (DHITMO), and the OCM Vendor.
- Ensures cross-task integration and collaboration across PMO pillars
- Establish Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) as necessary to solve problems and proposesolution options
- Analyze Health IT systems/application integration patterns and designs
Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science Degree (or Equivalent degree) RequiredMaster’s Degree Preferred
Health Care; Informatics10 years experience managing enterprise-wide EHR implementation/modernization programs preferred.
