St. Michael Catholic Church is looking for a passionate, dedicated, in love with Christ youth minister, who will engage our teens and encourage them to a deeper relationship with Christ by leading teens into Christ’s sacrificial presence inside the walls of church and beyond the walls of the church. This person must meet teens where they are on their faith journey by speaking the Truth and pushing teens beyond mediocrity and into a deeper relationship with Christ. Witnessing and teaching our Faith with bold passion, bold love, and bold truth while strengthening our teens’ Catholic identity by rooting them firmly in Christ and His Church, this person must be committed to our teens and parish.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, vendors, employees, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

The work environment varies according to the ministry or program. Indoors the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Outdoor work on mission trips and outreach programs is in the summer heat and at times requires strenuous activity. Other outdoor diocesan events during the year also involve strenuous activity. Interaction usually includes large numbers of children, adolescents, and adults.
