Job Description:

The Software Developer at Direct Companies works alongside a team of developers and analysts to serve and support our client base. The Software Developer will contribute to the team by creating, improving, and supporting our software programs. This position will also work closely with clients through client support and serving as a technical resource. This is a key role for the continued growth and development of our Direct Data Management team. Key attributes include software development expertise, strong customer-orientation, and the ability to identify growth and improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A BA/BS degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field, and/or an Associate degree in a related field with 5 or more years’ experience is preferred.
• Experience using Agile development process.

• Knowledge and experience in using C#.
• Knowledge and experience using .NET web frameworks i.e. (Blazor, MVC, etc.).

• Knowledge and/or experience using SQL.

• Experience with cloud-based authentication such as Microsoft Azure or other cloud authentication software.

Essential Job Functions:

• Write clean, scalable code.

• Create and test software prototypes.

• Develop client displays and user interfaces.

• Assist software personnel in handling project related work and other requirements.

• Use and adapt existing web applications for apps.

• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
