Operations Representative

Direct Traffic Solutions is looking for experienced Operations Representatives in Boca Raton. Must have working knowledge of transportation procedures and the “life of a load”. Must be a detail oriented, multi-tasker with a well-developed set of people skills to be successful. Responsibilities:
– Direct phone contact with existing Drivers and Owner Operators
– Direct phone contact with existing Carriers within our database
– Tracking and Tracing loads
– Knowledge and experience with state of the art transportation software
– Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
– Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities

Job Requirements:
– College degree preferred, high school diploma with two years proven transportation experience a plus
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, the Internet and ability to quickly learn new TMS systems and platforms
– Strong telephone and written communication skills
– Assertive, passionate, and dedicated to succeed
– Ability to work independently while supporting an overall team mentality
– Ability to work in an office environment
– Manage complex Customer situations promptly and professionally
– Must read, write, and speak English fluently. Bi-lingual is a plus.
– Positive and enthusiastic attitude
