Our scope includes customer-facing self-service capabilities on DIRECTV.com, our IVR (interactive voice response), and applications for our field technicians and customer care phone agents.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $105,830 - $192,050
Low (N1): $105,830 - $158,650
Mid (N2): $111,400 - $167,000
High (N3): $122,540 - $183,700
Top (N4): $128,110 - $192,050

Here's what you'll do:
- Work with team members on the Scrum team or development team on the technical requirements.
- Ensure coding standards and best practices are followed during development and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions and ensure applications meet performance standards.
- Production Support; work with Tier1 support to troubleshoot production issues and work on fixing and deploying identified change to production.
- A strong communicator, able to effectively synthesize key points of a topic and turn them into a persuasive conversation, presentation, or email.
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a successful Full Stack Java Engineer/Developer in a fast-moving business, or relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (computer science, engineering, information technology, or the sciences) is preferred, and recommended.
- Required experience with:
- Expertise with JAVA programming.
- Deploying and debugging AWS/Azure based applications.
- Postman and SOAPUI.
- Relational and document databases.
- PL/SQL.
- Agile software development, testing, and tools like Jira.
- GIT and UNIX ecosystem.
- Building and working with REST and SOAP based web-services preferred.
- Excellent organization and planning skills with ability to multi-task.
- Self-directed, results-oriented individual who can independently handle and thrive with multiple priorities.
