DirectViz Solutions, LLC. is a high-level, strategic consulting services firm that meets mission IT needs for government clients. We are hiring a Business Architect. The position is remote, due to the pandemic. There might be occasional onsite or office meetings.
The work location is Washington, DC. This position requires a Public Trust investigation.
Business Architect
Responsibilities:
- Support Operational Planning and Development efforts, including performance management and metrics tracking, as well as IT Roadmap development
- Support development of the OIT IT Strategic Plan (ITSP)
- Provide subject matter expertise for IT Service Management (ITSM) Governance, processes, and policies
- Perform IT Policy analyses, including conducting research on best practices, Federal requirements, and reference policies of other Agencies. Update IT Policy content, tailor language, and recommend IT Policy changes for the Policy Council's IT Policy Portfolio.
- Develop and implement Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) strategies, including creating an enterprise wide ERM framework
- Draft and tailor ERM artifacts, conduct ERM qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, draft and track IT risk lists, and create risk identification, categorization, and mitigation processes
- Support Vendor Portfolio Assessments and analyze Service Level Agreement Reports
- Support cybersecurity and privacy related strategy, artifact development, and reviews
- Support application rationalization efforts, including conducting periodic assessments of the Agency application portfolio
- Develop IT Inventory Baseline, including assessing the current state of the IT infrastructure footprint and utilization and informing future acquisitions of IT assets and reuse of existing resources
Requirements:
Education: BA/BS degree
Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust
