DISCO is rapidly growing and we are looking for an exceptional Web Experience leader to join our Marketing team. The Director, Web Experience role is critical to us expanding our online presence, creating an engaging first experience with our brand and increasing demand for our solutions. As one of our most important brand experiences, you'll be responsible for an end-to-end holistic strategy for our website. As the leader of the web team, you will build and manage a team of developers and designers to deliver a best in class web experience. A critical function of this role will be developing a roadmap to set clear goals and milestones to match our rapidly growing business.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of designing, building and globalizing websites–including leading processes, resources, technology and analytics. You will have a deep understanding of UI/UX, brand building, B2B lead generation, SEO and CMS systems needed to deliver a best-in-class web presence. This role will report to the Sr Director of Digital Marketing.
What You'll Do
- Own the overall web strategy and user experience of our web properties including availability, development, content, and user experience to deliver an on-brand global web experience that maximizes traffic, engagement and conversion
- Create and execute our website vision and roadmaps to deliver continuous website improvements with quality and on schedule
- Provide vision and strategy on our tech needs for our site - including tools like CMS, web personalization, testing, etc.
- Hire and lead a team, and identify resource gaps to accomplish goals
- Closely partner with Creative Services, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand and Content teams to ensure the website features the most impactful messages, accurately reflects the brand and meets DISCO's lead gen goals
- Scale and manage website analytics (i.e. understanding performance of our site and identifying opportunities to make enhancements, making executive level reporting, and sharing the success of the website).
- Develop a testing strategy to ensure continuous improvement on key metrics
- Establish a website governance process that enables the web team to stay organized and keep up with fast paced business requirements, ensuring stability and scalability
Who You Are
- You are deeply passionate about building a best in class web presence team. You bring deep subject matter expertise and instincts to help DISCO build a digital experience that supports DISCO's brand and demand gen goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Web Design, or similar relevant field; advanced degree viewed favorably
- 7 years being responsible for web strategy and execution for a global B2B technology company, including 3 years managing a web team
- Highly experienced in using and selecting the following web technologies: analytics, content management systems, testing, chat, ecommerce, personalization
- Experienced in website redesign best practices and technical migrations
- Experience managing and delivering on a multi-year website roadmap on-time and with quality
- Demonstrated experience leveraging the web experience as a demand generation conversion channel
- Knowledge of SEO strategy, optimization and ROI analytics
- Experience with cross-functional partnership: web development, copywriting, editorial, SEO, web design, brand, events, etc.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Able to think outside the box and with a problem-solving mindset
