Finding the right people to add to our unique mix is a difficult endeavor, so we're looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our growing Data Science & Analytics recruiting team to help us scale and grow together in these exciting times.
Partnering directly with our Head of Data Science & Analytics and founding members of Discord, you will join us during an exciting period of growth - both as a company and as a business. This is a one year contractor position, so we are looking for someone who is excited to jump right in and help us find amazing talent to add to Discord!
What you'll be doing
- Complete end-to-end ownership of your recruiting pipelines across Discord's Data Science & Analytics organization
- Develop relationships with both Head of Data Science & Analytics and hiring managers to understand their needs and help them scale their teams
- Partner with our dedicated Data Science & Analytics Sourcer in finding qualified candidates through multiple channels, strategizing together, and leaning in together as a valued partnership
- Wear a consultative hat for your hiring parnters and the team as we learn and scale this organization together. You are able to help share strategies and extend your market expertise
- Develop a deep relationship with candidates by understanding their goals, values, and interests to match them to the right teams and strengthen the offer process
What you should have
- You prioritize delivering the best candidate experience, build deep connections with your hiring managers and organizational leadership, and foster the relationship with your peers, larger recruiting team, and partners
- You are committed to an equitable hiring process
- You believe that an openness to learning and incorporating new strategies makes for a better recruitment experience
- You understand the Data Science & Analytics market and have recruiting experience building out their respective teams with talent
- 3 years of experience sourcing and recruiting
- Experience with Lever, Greenhouse, Jobvite, Taleo, Gem, TopFunnel, or other forms of applicant tracking systems or CRMs
Bonus Points
- A passion and an understanding of Discord’s mission and values
- Experience working in a tech startup or an agency serving tech startups
- Experience with Google product suites for office communication
