Compensation $67,725 per year
Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience.

Job Description
Ensuring a secure and effective workflow, the House Manager is responsible for the direct oversight of the Behavioral Technicians. Working in collaboration with the program leadership works diligently to ensure that the organization and its team members’ practices are within compliance; and that client care and safety are conducted and maintained at the highest levels. The House Manager is also in charge of the ongoing training and development of the Behavioral Technician team, as well as the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the adherence of all policies and procedures; including emergency procedures and notification protocols of the Behavioral Technicians
- Participates in the Health and Safety Committee meetings; as well as The Joint Commission and/or CARF, and state licensing projects
- Provides oversight of Behavioral Technician team, including day-to-day management, professional development and performance reviews
- Completes candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring for relevant positions
- Ensures appropriate staffing within the facility per facility staffing grid
- Covers shifts when needed to ensure appropriate staffing
- Provides On-Call support
- Ensures ongoing staff development through regular trainings and workshop participation
- Ensures timely, considered and effective communication with all team members and patients
- Responsible for the development and modification of Behavioral Technician schedules
- Conducts periodic reviews of all UA tracking, room search and rounds logs. As well as daily task checklists to ensure all items are complete and in line with DBH standards
- Participates in establishing and implementing new policies and procedures
- Completes and approves credit card expenses and ensures that all spending is within budgeted parameters
- Works in conjunction with Facility Manager to develop, perform and assess safety and emergency drills
- Completes appropriate documentation and audits to ensure that the program is in compliance with rounds documentation and medication administration guidelines
- Completes assigned items within the performance improvement/risk management system, and as directed by program leadership
- Ensures that Team Members are current with all educational and vocational requirements
- Works directly with Admissions Teams to schedule various intakes and ensures an efficient and timely intake process
- Oversees the patients’ intake and discharge processes and coordinates directly with the relevant departments including Case Management, Care Coordination and Clinicians as necessary
- Participates in treatment team meetings and creates treatment team overviews for staff review
- Oversees timekeeping system to ensure that all timecards are submitted to payroll in a timely manner and reports any error or corrections to payroll as soon as possible.
- Possesses a complete and working knowledge of all staff job functions to be able to help support and encourage collaboration and morale development among all team members
- Ensures staff adherence to Infection Control Protocols
- Serves as a positive role model to staff, patients, employees and guests through a positive, caring, and professional attitude
- Maintains the confidential nature of patient and program related activities
- May be required to travel to other facilities to attend trainings from time to time
- Completes other duties as assigned by program leadership
This is a full-time position that will work Saturday-Monday 12pm-8:30pm, Thursday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm.

Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience working with patients in the behavioral health field required OR
- Bachelor’s degree in the social services field and 2 years of experience working in the behavioral health field OR
- Master’s degree in the social services field and 1 year of experience working in the behavioral health field.
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Valid and unrestricted required State Driver’s License if applicable
- Minimum of 2-year sobriety if in recovery
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to document within an electronic system
- First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days of hire and required recertification annually thereafter
- De-escalation/restraint technique certification within 90 days of hire and recertification yearly thereafter
- Medication training within 30 days of hire if applicable
- Washington Only:
- Must apply for a WA Department of Health, Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential, within 30 days of hire and maintain this credential throughout employment
- Must obtain a Food Handlers card within 7 days of hire and maintain throughout employment
